Up and Coming- Microsoft Suraface
The new device by Microsoft, Microsoft Surface, promises to bring a new wave of competition for the Apple iPad if it manages to impress buyers during the holiday season. The Surface is scheduled to be released October 26th, and pre-sales in the United States are already sold out. If the RT version is a big hit amongst buyers, the Pro version to be released in early 2013 will likely be the biggest competitor the Apple iPad has faced since it's inital release.

The iPhone 5 has merely a few months since the leaks started coming out about it's design. With most of the hype gone, people are now focusing for september 2013 as the possible release date for what may be the greatest phone yet, the iPhone 6 (as claimed each year by Apple fanatics). In todays' fashionist world, what is the biggest trend amongst new phones? Ever since the Motorola Razr, phone manufacturers have been coming up with new technologies each year to better accomodate more power and data onto smaller and smaller devices. With the iphone 5 claiming to be one of the thinnest smartphones of all time, it is a good guess that next year's iPhone 6 will be even thinner. If all the latest fads and trends continue for the next 10 years, we may just come across, at one point or another, the amazing concept ideas for phones such as the Mozilla seabird and the iPhone ___ (version still unknown).

The Samsung Galaxy S3, the "iPhone-killer" as many have said in the past, is being regarded as the best android OS device to have ever come out. In 2012, the two phones that have made headlines around the world have been the iPhone 5, and the S3. Ironically, the manufacturers for these phones were involved in a heated legal dispute over patent infringments. Apple ultimately won, leaving Samsung with over $1 Billion dollars to pay for damges to the iconic Apple brand. Nonetheless, with sales of the S3 soaring as high as the iPhone recording-breaking sales, Samsung has a promising feature with it's Galaxy dynasty.

Rumor has it this new device will revolutionaze the book reading industry as has the Amazon Kindle done. Many skeptics have noted that there is no need for an in-between device for those users who already have the iPhone and the iPad, as it's essentially the same device, just with a bigger screen than the iphone and a smaller screen for the ipad
